Daley honors mother’s 88th birthday on Senate floor

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Kevin Daley on Thursday had a special birthday recognition for his mother on the Senate floor.

Daley’s sisters Diane and Karen made the trip to Lansing with his mother so the senator could have the Senate formally wish her a happy birthday.

“I was happy to welcome my mother and my sisters to the Capitol this afternoon,” said Daley, R-Lum. “I’m glad they were able to make it into town today and I want to thank my colleagues for the warm welcome and for wishing my mother a happy 88th birthday.”
