LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Kevin Daley joined organization members and residents from across the state at the Gift of Life event on the Michigan Capitol steps Tuesday morning.
Daley, who has been a long-time supporter of the cause, spoke to participants about the meaningful effect donations can have on Michigan families in need.
“This is an issue that is deeply personal to me and my family,” said Daley, R-Lum. “My son Thomas was a generous man, and when he passed he gave the gift of life with his heart so that someone else could have a better future. This is a great cause and one that can really make a change for someone. I was happy to participate in the event and share the importance of the work Gift of Life Michigan does.”
